Nokia 6300 freezing on start up?

Hey,
I own a nokia 6300 and when i start it up it freezes on a white screen with the pic of the battery at the top. it freezes for about a min or more but then will go onto my main screen.

it also does this when i take the USB cord out after being in the computer but it freezes on the screen that says data mode deactivated.

I have tried restoring it and it worked until i changed all my settings back to the way i had it.

what have i got on my phone that could do that
?

It could be that the are too many files on the phone memory.If the are too many files the phones system will slow down and it will process slowly.But then again it cant be a virus problem since its java based not symbian.Maybe somehow you have been turning your phone on and off regularly
 
i have the same problem freezes on a white screen with the pic of the battery at the top. but it dosent go away and its a new phone it dosnt have any files
