Nokia 6300 with bluetooth cannot be found by pc?

I have tried to transfer pics from pc to mobile and visa versa but pc cannot find my mobile device. It has bluetooth and everything necessary has been downloaded onto pc. The bluetooth is switched to 'on' on mobile. Have tried switching mobile off and restarting but pc still will not find it. Any suggestions.
