Nokia keypad question...?

I have a Nokia 5310 cellphone and my dad bought it from china, and it has chinese characters beside the english ones on the keypad, how do I make the chinese characters in my keypad erased? Is there a way or something?
 
I don't think you can mate unless you go into a phone shop and ask them for there help, but to erase the chinese numbers or letters you will have to get a new keypad and I think that will be quite expensive to do.
