Nokia N Series Help With Maps And GPS?

i have a nokia n82 and on the maps i can mess around and stuff like see places, and on settings it says use network and if i switch it use network never will i get charged atall from my network, like will i get charged just to use the gps feature were it searches for satalites and to pin point were i am and stuff? thanx in advance
its nokia maps i am using
