I have a Nokia N70-1 (ME) with a 1 GB memory card. So I save almost everything on it to keep phone memory free. But I noticed that the phone memory was also getting slowly filled automatically.
With the application X-plore, I went through all the c:System files as memory was being eaten up somewhere there and found two unusually large files, c:System/Data/music.db and c:System/Data/vasdb/nssvasdatabase.db. A Google search on the first one led me to some forums where I found that the file contained data about past music files and one could safely delete it. So I went on to do so without that affecting my music files.
As for the second file, there are inquiries on forums whether it is safe to delete it but there are no clear answers and no one seems to know what it contains. I would much appreciate it if anyone could give me some info about this as the file is growing and I would like to handle it without re-formatting the phone if possible.
