nokia n8 how to restore factory without deleting data?

i really need to restore factory settings without deleting any data and also does any1 know how to connect to the web if ur phone refuses to show any WLANs? i got a wireless and it connected fine until i dropped the phone in the water.... everything works fine but this 1, any1 knows alternate ways to connect to WIRELESS not Bluetooth or gprs or anything else.
 
sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this has nothing to do with settings, factory or otherwise;
when it got wet your N8 got damaged.
if there is no bump or otherwise visible damage, you can
- connect it to a computer & copy the data to a USB stick or so.
- bring it to a NOKIA Care Center (NCC) and bluff that "o my, i don't know what happend, but it doesn't go online anymore..." ?!?
