I want to make a difference, but without the religious aspect lingering over my head. Does anyone know of a group that is either 'non-religious' or if they are religious they do not preach while on these missions trips? I'm really interested in helping people less fortunate than myself, but I really feel a connection with the people as people (not based on a single faith) would be more beneficial to myself and the people I am helping. Anyone that could help...that'd be GREAT! Thank you in advance for your advice.
