what are the LUMOS and HOMOS of the following molecules?
Acetone
ethanenitrile
2aminoethanol
cyclohexene
2-aminoethanol
I think for example that the HOMO for acetone is the lone pairs on the oxygens atomic orbitals which aren't hybridised. What I'm not sure about is like which of the sets of lone pairs on the N and O in 2aminoethanol are higher? And which orbital the LUMO is?
Also, how are each of these protonated in acids...i know its to do with LUMOS and HOMOS interacting?
