[QUOTE="RauriesMom, post: 414993, member: 175431"] I am not like most of these Christians out here, and I did not always follow religion blindly, I was like you, I argued with people about why they believed in God, and even made fun of them for their beliefs...But when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, at the age of 17, right after my aunt had passed away, there are many more things that lead me to believe there was something greater at work. My parents were on drugs, a baby was a good incentive for them not to be, I was on drugs, a baby was definitely a good incentive for me not to be. Pretty much, my daughter saved my life, and she was a miracle from God. When you put as much effort into believing and looking for miracles as you do trying to disprove miracles, you will find them. And you will believe them. So please do me a favor, I'm not asking you to believe in God or accept Jesus as your savior, but try looking for a miracle. Something that can't be defined by science or logic. Look for that, and then tell me what you think. Edit: Also most Christians do not believe in demon snakes and hellbound apples... The bible has been proven to be nothing more than an old newspaper, some of it isn't even translated correctly, (it was written in Hebrew) The books contradict one another, etc etc etc, and honestly some of it doesn't make any sense at all (I've tried reading the book of revelations and applying it to the present, like some people do) and there is NOTHING in it, that applies to now. Not at all. FYI. But, another issue is, you cannot be TAUGHT religion, in my opinion. You can't learn it from a book, you have to FEEL it.
