my father recieved one today can he still save his home. sale date is april 24th, 2009 at 11:30 at this point what option does he have to save his. yes he offer the bank all the money last month he was underwater for 3 months prior. again yes he wanted to pay it but the lender told him to go a different route with a partial claim advance HUD would help now all this is happening.so what can he do he dosent want to lose his home
 
Call the Trustee and ask what the amount would be to bring the loan current. If he can cover that, pay it and then make the monthlys on time. This assumes that he has a sustainable way to make the payments. If he can't pay that, (or can't refinance before the sale) he's going to lose the house.
