I am a student in the UK, and I'm just about to start my A Levels. ...
I'm not sure on my uni choices yet but I'm thinking either dentistry or teaching, and I was just wondering what sort of opportunities there are for dentists/teachers in NZ ...

I know it seems a tad weird that I'v already decided that I want to move to NZ after uni, yet I haven't even decided on a career path, but it's something that I'v always wanted to do :)

So, yeah, basically is there any need for either of those professions, is the lifestyle really very different and how do people over there react to British people ...

thanks

I would suggest going over there for a month or two in the summer & having a look. When you start uni you will have the summers off. Go with a friend and see for yourself.

The climate is a bit like OZ but not as hot & you have the two islands, the north which is generally warmer & the south that has the mountains & the glaciers etc. It's a lovely place, very relaxed & very beautiful and lots of culture.

The cost of living is about the same as the UK too & being a teacher or dentist you will never be out of work where ever you go.

It's a big world out there though & lots to consider & it's a long way from home, but you have all the time to make up your mind.

Best of luck.
