Hello, I have depression.. I am just wondering if I could use food, exercise to get over the depression? I am not interested in anything anymore... but I dont like medication... Please I dont want medication and I cant afford it also..
can it help?

Yes, you can use food and exercise to get over depression. Just eat in small portions, eat fruits and vegetables, Oatmeal cereal, whole grain foods.

I was in a vicious circle. I was depressed because I was overweight and I was eating because I was depressed. Ever since I started dieting and working out I feel so much better about myself. I can use all the feeling and let is out at the gym.

I would say do it, if it doesn't help your depression, at least you have burned some calories.

You have to eat .See a doctor you may not need medication but if you do there are programs that can help you pay for medications.

Exercise sounds like a great idea!! Buy a pedometer and try walking 10,000 steps per day. You will be keeping your mind occupied and not think of your depression. If you can find a buddy to walk with, it will give each of you an incentive to do better. Good Luck.
