NYC Rookie Cops.....?

Well unbeknown to me there is something called illegal tint on front car windows.....I am at 5% what should I do?

I got a ticket in a rookie sting and issued a citation for to dark of window tint, but the killer part is cops all day pass me by and have never done anything.
Because Rookie cops are trying to get a name and fill a quota as the patrol officers typically dont have time to stop adn pester drivers
And I just purchased the vehicle and didn't put the tint on the vehicle so I had no clue it was illegal
 
What does this have to do with the amount of time an officer has spent on the NYPD?
What you can do is make your car legal.
 
First, ignorance is no excuse for lawbreaking
Second, how do you know they were rookies
Third, stop complaining, pay the fine, and remove the tint. Problem solved

Oh fourth, stop blaming others for your problems.
 
Plead not guilty and go to trial. Can the cop prove the window was too dark? It is a BS ticket. I've never seen a limo with jet black windows get ticketed, just kids.
