oh no!! bearded dragon trying to mate with beared dragon what should i do?

seriously they are trying to mate the male is on tope and shakeing like they do then he gets under and before he could start i took him away its my friends frilled dragon but he wanted to see what happened to the egg i know they wont hatch mabey lol brill dragon we said so what should i do with them they have known eachouthere since they were younge and seen eachouther alot of times and not been fighting we even kept them in the same tank because i had to stay there for a night should i let them mate and see what happens?? please answer
