oil change 2003 impala?

on my impala's message center, it keeps telling me to change engine oil even after i changed it. i used the right oil grade and even after i did an engine flush it stills says to change the oil. what could cause this?
 
There is a mileage counter that needs to be reset. Someone here will probably know how.
