Oil change in 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

I have a 2005 trailblazer and have been using Mobil 1 oil when I change the oil. I was wondering if it would be all right to switch to a cheaper brand of oil? Thanks
 
Yes you can switch to any kind of oil cheap or expensive regardless of the brand, as long as you haven't being using synthetic and going to non-synthetic at all.
 
Yes, 4.2L engines use regular 5w30 oil from the factory.
