I have two eD (Elemental Designs) 13" 13aV.2 Subwoofers in my car powered by a Orion HCCA10002 (HCCA-10002) Amplifier. The amp is 2000 Watt RMS. The whole system cost me about $1.5k and I love it!!! The thing is this though... I have my bass set on 1. My bass goes from 0 (Which is OFF) - 8, and If I turn my volume anything over 19 the bass cuts out. My power wire thickness is 6 which is the most expensive wire I could find. My Ground wire is tightly connected to the seatbelt retractor that is in the trunk behind the felt in it, so that is fine. My real question is, do I need another battery or another alternator or something? I need more power, because I can barely hear the words to the song as is, but if I turn it up any more the bass cuts out, so please help!!!!! Thanks!
