Okay...utorrent, DivX, don't know what to do...?

I've gone through the searching and everything, i've found the movie torrent, and i've downloaded the downloader thingie (utorrent). The file is still downloading (30%), and i've tried to play it, it opens up windows media player, and i get this message:
The file is already in use. Close other programs that might be using the file, or stop playing the file, and then try again.
so, is it not playing because it is still downloading?
I've downloaded DivX and don't know what to make of it. I also have the VLC player. I do not want to download anymore movies, this is the only one i want.
Will it work when the file is completely downloaded I thought it was strange when it wouldn't play.

Thats it, its because the movie is not finished downloading. Just because it says 30% downloaded, it doesnt mean you can watch 30% of the movie. The movie downloads as a WHOLE file, unless you're watching the movie streamed. You need to finish downloading the movie and it should work.
