Sometime in the late 1980s or early 90s there was this animated short that ran during commercials on Nickelodeon, I'm hoping someone can remember and knows what I'm talking about. It had a creepy intro that was just a picture of a metal looking blimp in space with flashing green and red lights, it didn't move, it was just a still image on the TV screen, but this freaky music would play.
Then the screen would go white, and you could hear footsteps that sounded like someone was walking down a hallway. A pencil drawn box with legs would appear and walk across the screen, stop, keep walking, and walk off. That was it! It was so weird, and I can't remember what it was called, if it had a name at all. It was all in black and white.
There was a second one that began the same way with the blimp, but there was a dog sleeping on a round rug in the middle of the room. You could see the ZzzZZzzz floating up from his head while he slept. Occasionally he would open one eye and look at you, then go back to sleep. That was the whole thing with that one.
Very strange short animations. Hoping someone can help me remember what this was.
