Old Children's Movie - Singing Bugs? Paris?

I have a vague memory of a kid's movie where the main character is a female (maybe an animal - a cat?) and a bug is singing to her. I think the bug is a butterfly but he might have also been a moth. He was singing about a lady moth he was in love with, but she was in love with fire, and one night got too close and died. This is all I remember, I feel like the style was like Gay Purr-ee but unless it's a deleted scene, that's not it.
