Alright, so, I contribute this to my own stupidity, so if there is nothing I can do to solve the issue I have, it's all my own fault. Nevertheless, if you can help, please try!
Ok, basically, my computer decided to stop working yesterday. I restarted it, after which it said Windows could not reload, and after that, it would only go so far as the login screen for Windows, and it would get stuck when I put in the login info.
I did the only thing I can think of, I restored it to factory settings. Stupid, I know, not even asking anyone with computer knowledge to look at it. Anyway, I did save all my files, so I felt confident about that.
Right now, I needed to find a OneNote notebook. Now, usually, those are in my Documents folder, but when I recovered all the data from the backup from my USB, the notebooks were not there!
Does anyone know if OneNote notebooks are not backed-up as files in doing a system recovery? Is there anything I can do, or are all my original files gone now that I've restored? Is there another place for me to look in the recovered files?
