1.7DTI wont start, there is no fuel getting even to the diesel filter what could be the problem ? The garage changed the fuel injector pump and still would not start. They think now its the EDU, I just do not believe them anymore that is why I am asking what other problems are common and any suggestion would be deeply appreciated. The first sings were that it started cutting out when it like heats up and then it would cool down for few hours and I would be able to start it again. However now it does not even start. So could this be the EDU gone ? Thank You

first step in your case is to get a independent source of fuel to the filter head ie a few lite-rs of new fuel in a container then with a primer hand pump which you can get from a scrapyard (most Peugeot's diesels have them easy Access easy to get off and use) then you just prime your filter getting rid of all air bubbles crank it over if it starts you know its not the ecu and the problem lies between the filter and the tank ie in tank fuel pump blockage etc it is also worth checking your leak off pipes which become hard and brittle and very Much causes none starting and is simple to replace and cheap good luck mate reg tony ps ecu s just dont go for no reason at all

It's ECU not EDU. Electronic Control Unit. If your garage isn't an Opel/Vauxhall dealership, visit one.
Only the dealerships have the equipment and software to analyse ECU faults. You say the garage 'thinks' it may be the ECU. They should be able to read the fault codes, so they can't have the correct diagnostic equipment. Off to a dealer.
