We have just 10 games on the docket for Thursday, so batter streaming is just as important as pitcher streaming. But let's tackle the men on the mound first.

Probable Starters for Thursday, Sept. 22
1. Madison Bumgarner (at LAD): Monster second half, will be pricy in 2012
2. Philip Humber (at Cle): Solid numbers in last Cleveland start
3. Chris Capuano (at StL): Strikeout numbers make him worth consdiering
4. Hiroki Kuroda (SF): Hasn't been sharp of late, but matchup is right
5. Henderson Alvarez (LA): Useful in most of his starts
6. Zach Britton (at Det): Has feel of the hybrid sinker back
7. Jeanmar Gomez (Chi): Nifty ratios but where are the strikeouts?
8. Henry Sosa (Col): Mid-90s heater passes eye test
9. Roy Oswalt (Was): Hasn't been great down the stretch
10. Colby Lewis (at Oak): Drops down to 3.40/1.20 on the road
11. Ervin Santana (at Tor): A mediocre month (4.65/1.35)
12. Blake Beavan (at Min): Pitch-to-contact guy, but good spot
13. Brad Peacock (at Phi): Which version of the Phillies will he see?
14. Jake Westbrook (NY): Cardinals still have much to play for
15. Bartolo Colon (TB): Numbers collapsing in second half
16. Jeff Niemann (at NY): One NY start this year was a good one
17. Jacob Turner (Bal): Just 20, keep expectations modest
18. Alex White (at Hou): At least it's not at Coors
19. Trevor Cahill (Tex): Fell out of the Circle of Trust a while ago
20. Anthony Swarzak (Sea): It hasn't been Minnesota's year

You can grab Humber (31 percent) and Capuano (14 percent) in the majority of Yahoo! groups, and Alvarez (seven percent), Gomez (five percent) and Britton (17 percent) are out there for the more daring in the crowd. The only downside to Sosa, as I see it, is the crummy team around him; Colorado's offense is down a lot of key players and the Rockies no longer have thin air to make them attractive. Feeling Gravity's Pull, indeed.

Here are a variety of bats to consider for the Thursday stream — your needs and availability will vary, but hopefully someone on this list makes sense for you: Ben Revere (nine percent, 10 steals last month), Nolan Reimold (seven percent, category juice in September), James Loney (39 percent), Josh Willingham (50 percent, big park not bothering him), Jerry Sands (two percent) and Alejandro De Aza (11 percent, three homers, seven steals and a .342 average over the last month).
