I believe that they had the draft brought forward to fix RAW. Deadwood like Knox/Ziggler/Manu/Snuka will get moved to ECW and most of the supplementary draft picks will get released like last year.
Now that SD! is doing okay on the new network, i expect HHH to go back to his comfort zone of RAW.
I personally don't see the point of having the draft after 9-10 months as we haven't seen feuds that we thought we would such as HHH V Taker/Kennedy or Mysterio V Cena/HBK/Jericho or Umaga V Taker/Jeff/HHH.
I believe that the draft should be every 2 years.
What are your opinions?
