[QUOTE="buGGedDown, post: 1712115, member: 654420"] i have an intel celeron cpu clocked to 2.26ghz with the bus speed at 133mhz and the multiplier to 17. in my bios, the multiplier is locked but i can increase the bus speed up to 165 which will total to about 2.8ghz. i'm planning to increase the bus speed to just 141 so i can have 2.4 ghz. my question is: do i need to do the overclocking bit by bit (50mhz each) or can i just do it once and step up to 141 at once. also, the cpu voltage adjustment is by percent(+2.0%, +4% and +6%). do i need to increase my cpu voltage by just overclocking it by 137mhz? by how much? i am using a stock heatsinkfan so i can't afford too much heat.
