Hello i have the Tool VAG5053 and the Serial cable with it. recently i visited www.memoscan.cn and I found out they have a firmware update called VAG5053+ so i downloaded the Firmware package and it comes as one *.RAR file and these two files in it:
1)Utility.exe
2) VAG5053+.BIN firmware file
however I tried to used the Utility.exe file to flash (program) my vag5053+ with the new firmware version but i had no success with the Utility.exe file I choose COM1 and then the Vag5053+.BIN file and then click ok it keeps telling me cann't connect device but the device is connected and the Serial Port on my computer is running great because i tested it with with other devices that need COM1 and they functioned no problem at all.
so does anyone know how to flash my VAG5053 with VAG5053+ file? could you write down the steps or if you have a website write it down.
don't tell me ask the dealer because thats not going to solve the issue.
