p90x without following the nutrition plan.?

First of all, I am on my 2nd week of p90x. I weigh 107 and I'm 5'3. I really only want to lose 5 lbs just to shed that extra layer off...but I think that can be done by just doing the workouts. I don't eat fast food, or drink sodas. I tend to eat what I want, but in portions.

What do you think and what are your experiences with this?
