Pair Bluetooth headset with Bluetooth 3.5mm audio dongle - different pins?

My default psswd for the GoldLantern headset is 1234 while the default for the Bluetooth audio dongle is 0000. Do I need to use a bluetooth phone or computer to change one of the pins and pair the devices? I want to be able to listen to music wirelessly from my stereo or TV. Thanks in advance.
 
different pins shouldn't matter as long as you have your dongle setup with your system first, then it is just integrated as part of your system and can search for a pair-able headset.
