My mother actually has a Laser because she doesn't really know a lot about phones, and she didn't want the data plan, and she's impressed by it's ease of use. In simple terms, the Flipside is a "dumb smartphone," while the Laser is a "smart dumb-phone." As far as apps, internet, and reliability, I'd go with the Flipside. As far as texting, portability, and simplicity, I'd go with the Laser. But hey, it's up to you!</p></blockquote><p></p>
