To those who want to fly their own UAV, the Parrot Ar.Drone could be a good buy. Featuring a quadcopter configuration, and remote-controlled over WiFi with an iPhone or iPod touch, the Ar.Drone was a surprise star that had debuted at CES 2010.Out-of-sight control is possible via video feed courtesy of the front camera, and since it’s a multi-rotor helicopter, the Ar.Drone can hover (thanks to a second down-looking camera providing the bird with some bearing).
