Usually caused when some one slams the door shut but something is trapped in the door (such as the seat belt ) and it moves the door out of line by pushing the hinges offline. Open your door right out and see if you can see evidence of any of the hinges being moved slightly. Check both the bolts holding the hinge to the car body and also if there are bolts to the inside of the door itself. if you notice any sign of any movement loosen them off a little and realign the door back to where it looks like it was before. You can also loosen the bolts a little and close your door quite firmly and if it then closes up properly open it again carefully and tighten them up nice and tight and it should have reset itself.
As for those dome light buttons sometimes you can adjust them to come out further or you can stick a bit of something on the door where it makes contact.
