Food safety is the responsibility of FDA inspectors who are so short of funding that the peanut processing plant only got two inspections a year. A couple of the employees at the plant DID report a problem with a leaky roof putting contaminated water into the peanut butter paste line but the company OWNERS kept right putting out the product without shutting down the line.</blockquote>
