people searching my email address?

Someone told me last week that they did a google search on my email address and it kind of creeped me out. Number 1... why are they stalking me online and number 2... when I googled my email address it showed up all the questions I had asked and answers I had given over the past 8 years on yahoo answers. I mean, the whole point of coming onto somewhere like this is that you feel comfortable asking questions because you're anonymous .... now I feel kind of exposed and like my privacy has been invaded as he is able to see everything I have been thinking and going through etc etc.... Is there any way that I can somehow remove myself from showing up in search results such as this?
