i just got my first ever period and i'm fourteen...im a dancer so i dont wanna have to use pads at dance, they're too uncomfortable. I tried using a tampon and i got the applicator in but it hurts reallyyyyy badly....am i doing something wrong??!! I've read instructions on several sites, read the instructions in 3 different tampon boxes, watched a video on how, asked many of my friends, and talked to my mom...i even tried using KY jelly to make it easier and i've tried three different types of tampons, plastic and cardboard applicators...so far i've had the most luck with the cardboard ones suprisingly...anyone have any suggestions!!!!????
