[QUOTE="CobraGuppy, post: 1507936, member: 594084"] 1.- I have 6 Neon Tetras in a 5 Gallon Bow. For about a week now, they have started, and increasing in frequency, nipping at each other. I do not know why this aggression has popped up. I have not changed anything in the tank, and this did not happen 3 Weeks ago. Can someone tell me why they would start to nip each other? It is not water quality or space, because they have been living in the same tank with the same fish for months. 2.- I have one tank with Carolina Cabomba and Egeria Densa, and another tank with identical water and filtration system, but no live plants. I tested the PH levels, and the one with plants was very acidic, when normally, neither of the tanks are. The test results from the test strip and PH Tester was about 6.2 - 6.4. Normally the tank is around Neutral. My other tank, has no live plants and it's PH is the same as it has always been and the way my other tank used to be. At 7.0 - 7.2. Do Plants increase Acidity, if not, what would cause a drop in my PH? My Carolina Cabomba keeps thinning and losing it's leaves, I trimmed it when it was getting too tall, and I have an Air Stone, and Filter flow on in there. Are my snippings and/or water flow making it thinner? Plus, it's not lighting because I have very bright fluorescent lights in my tank. What is making my Cabomba, but not my Egeria, thin? Thank You.
