Playing MW2 on a 50" LG Television?

So when I bought my new 50" TV, I thought gaming would be so much better viewing it in Hi Def and what not. But actually it sucks! The Sensitivity feels so shaky no matter how high and low I adjust it. Even in the custom. I'm using the original RCA that came with the PS3, but a friend of mine told me I may need to get a HD cord? Can someone tell me what it's called and where to buy, thanks.
 
They are just called HDMI cables and you can buy them from harvey Norman or jaycar
 
Its called a HDMI cable or cord and you can buy them at any electronics store or even some drug stores
 
its an HDMI cable. you can get them for around $10, and you can pick them up at your local wal-mart.
