Dear Mrs. Jiwon,
Greetings! First off, I am Alfonso Roces of section 3-N in the Ateneo de Manila. I am also 17 years old.
2 weeks ago I asked your daughter to prom. She said she would’ve asked you. A few days later, she told me she had not been given permission. This was unfortunate to me as I tried my best in asking her.
So, I am writing you this letter to reconsider your decision. Firstly, I will pick up your daughter at 7 and bring her safely home exactly at 12. If you would like, my parents can accompany me when picking up her from her house if that can help make this safer. Secondly, during the prom, I will make sure that she is the most well-respected prom date there is in that prom. I will treat her with most courtesy and be the best gentlemen there is. Thirdly, I believe that this social event will be a good experience to her as she will learn many things one cannot gain in the classroom.
I really hope you take this into consideration. Have a wonderful day!
