needed................................................................................ Please do not be rude and assume this cant happen to you. I own 10 birds and this has NEVER happened to me before.
I was just washing dishes by hand and my little lovebird "junebug" was climbing up my leg then sat himself on the edge of the sink watching me do the dishes. He's done this a few times and EVERYTIME he has done this Ive removed him and he's come back and I feared this would happen. He jumped at the bubbles and landed in the middle of the sink. I picked him up and ran him under warm water to remove the suds (praying none had gotten into his nostrils) I then grabbed a clean dishtowel and attempted to dry him which he wanted no part of. He was shaking the water off and still running around, Ive put him back into his cage with a heat light (one from my snakes cage a black light heat light).. He's not acting abnormal should I leave the light on him, should I remove the light, its actually only on half of his cage so he doesnt get over hot.
