My brother, who is 23, was diagnosed with the start of pneumonia two nights ago, and is doing much better now.
I was just wondering, how likely is it for me to get it? How can I prevent from getting it?I just got over sinusitis and still have some phlegm in my chest and stuff in my nose, but not much. I don't have a fever and I feel pretty good. I am an overall healthy girl and I don't get sick much. I eat healthy, and wash my hands before I eat, after I go to the bathroom, etc. My brother and I aren't around each other alot, and we don't share drinks, utensils, etc.
My body does feel very weak, but I have had a very long week with semester tests and everything. I didn't go to bed until 4 or 5 every night the past week. I went to bed at 5 and woke up at 3 in the afternoon. Could this be the cause of me feeling weak? Not having a good sleep schedule, and not being very active? It's kind of scaring me that it could be the start of pneumonia, but I doubt it. I feel great, just weak.
