We are moving from Texas. My husband would be working in Troy. We have a 3 year old son. I'm a stay-at-home mom so we would like to live in a place close to things for me and my son to do together during the day. We are looking for a house around $400000. We're not uppity so we don't have to live in the wealthiest suburb, but I do want it to be safe. I would rather live in a suburb where I can get the most bang for my buck, rather than a suburb where housing is ridiculously overpriced. As long as it is clean and safe.
