Most internal martial arts can be practiced by all ages and people well into their 70s can effectively practice martial arts such as Tai Chi. The health and fitness benefits are wonderful and there is minimal risk of injury. A lot of people feel that internal arts are not the best way for self defense, yet "MOST" practicioners of martial arts and not regularly involved in violent encounters, either due to moral standards or lifestyle. Can it be concluded that from a life span length benefit of training, that the internal arts may have an edge in practicality??????
