I write science fiction/Dean Koontz style short stories that average about 30 pages. I have written at least 30 in the last 8 years. So far my son and niece have been named before either were born (as main characters) although I didn't even know my wife yet. Another story details my wife's current job and a resemblance to a cocky co-worker. These are just a few examples. It's very odd and a little creepy. What do you think? What's going to be revealed next? Should I start looking for clues BEFOREHAND?

Sounds like a self-fulfilling prophesy to me. Or maybe you were merely describing the kind of woman you would like to be with when you were writing and then you found that person. And I think everyone has cocky co-workers. I think if you start looking for clues in what you write then you will start to write what you want to happen and then sit around waiting for it to come along which can't be healthy. I say just live life as it comes at you. Day by day.
