Problem restoring iPhone 3G from Backup on iOS 4.1?

I just jailbroke my iPhone 3G using sn0wbreeze 2.0.1 on iOS 4.1. But when I connected it to itunes and tried restoring it from my backup it says-'iTunes is unable to restore as a session to the iPhone could not be started'
What to do now? I want my contacts and SMSs back!
