Problem with mobile phone - Nokia 6300?

Hi Folks

I do not know much about mobile phones & have the following problem -

Everytime I turn on my phone, it always asks me to type in the date & time. However, I thought the phone would have remembered those details, once typed in!

I have reset the phone to the original factory settings, but it still makes no difference.

Does anybody have a solution?
