...to be half-cleaned. Why? I have a Potscrubber dishwasher in my condo unit. I use it once or twice a month when dishes piled up. What I found recently is that the dishes are half-cleaned after the washing cycle is over. Film of grease left on my dishes and seal water at the bottom is yellowish in colour. Also, there was approx. 1/2 of the detergent powder left in the detergent cup, which was hardened by the way. It seems hot water got into the cup but there wasn't enough to dissolve and rinse out all for washing. What seems to be the problem with my Dishwasher? What's wrong?

check your water valve to make sure that is turned on all the way. Check your hose to make sure that there is not a blockage in it. .Make sure that the filter is clean and free of debri. Also make sure to rinse the dishes off and get the food off of them before you put them in the washer

You need to disassemble the lower arm and clean the gunk in the strainers monthly. Then pour white vinegar in the soap cup to dissolve that mess...finally run a cup of vinegar in there after the first rinse cycle with the dishwasher empty. That should solve it..if not your dishwasher needs the maintenance guy.
