normal? What's the problem? Lately, I've been having problems with my vehicle. When I start the truck up, I have to give it a 15 minute warm-up in order for the truck to run properly.

If I give it 5 minutes to warm up and start driving, the truck will stall out and will have a hard time starting for a little bit until it finally kicks over around the fifth or sixth time and everything is back to normal. Even when I turn it off on purpose and start it up again to see what would happen, the truck has no problems. Before it stalls out, it seems like I'm losing acceleration, or the gas will cut out and hesitate, and then it will stall.

I've changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, even sprayed the carburetor (or fuel injection). The battery is still good.

After a 15 minute warm-up, I have no problems going anywhere, it's only when I start the truck up for the day, put it in gear and it will stall out (and this has even occured on warmer days when it's above 60 to 70 degrees outside).

What could be the problem?

I have a 1992 Dodge Dakota with a 5.2 liter, V8, 318 engine (not the Magnum series engine).

1. clogged fuel line. or 2. Bad sensor in fuel tank indicating high levels of vapor. or 3. Vapor lock in either fuel tank or fuel canister.

I'd start with a new fuel filter. Add a good fuel additive to the tank like BG fuel additive for the next two tank of fuel and than a good isopropel to dry out any water you may have in the tank. And change the fuel tank cap which may be worn out (no spring tension to keep vapors in the tank causing the sensor to give false readings, that will either shut the car down or you may see a check engine light on the dash board. But my bet would be on your fuel filter... Good Luck
