and Sony receiver..HELP? This is so frustrating! I currently have the latest Comcast Motorola DVR box with HDMI and a Mitsubishi 73733 1080P DLP TV with a Sony 910 receiver. I was planning on hooking everything through the receiver to the TV via HDMI but Mits says hook cable box directly to TV. I connected via HDMI box to TV and the picture was grainy but my connections box and service were fine. Mits said that there may be compatibility issues with the HDMI between the comcast box and TV????? and to use component cables which worked fine and corrected problem. Now I wanted to get my surround sound so I went to connect optical cable from TV to receiver to do this but there is no optical port on the back of the Mits??? How do I route my sound to the receiver? I also have a PS 3....should I also go PS3 to TV? Can the TV send all the sounds required to the receiver via a cable from the TV?? Which type? Anyone knowledgable PLEASE HELP ME.. SUPERBOWL is SUNDAY and I need my TV? Thanks
