...this same date? Not just the Mayans predicted this date. MANY other cultures predicted it, it's even in the Vedas, Bible, and Qur'an!

There are striking parallels between a diversity of cultures relating to 2012 and there are many worldviews available to us. Emissaries from many different traditions will speak about the beliefs & prophesies of their culture.

Hopi Predict a 25yr period of purification followed by End of Fourth World and beginning of the Fifth.

Mayans Call it the end days or the end of time as we know it.

Maoris Say that as the veils dissolve there will be a merging of the physical & spiritual worlds.

Zulu Believe that the whole world will be turned upside down.

Hindus Kali Yuga (end time of man). The Coming of Kalki & critical mass of Enlightened Ones.

Incas Call it the Age of Meeting Ourselves Again.

Aztec Call this the Time of the Sixth Sun. A time of transformation. Creation of new race.

Dogon Say that the spaceship of the visitors, the Nommo, will return in the form of a blue star

Pueblo Acknowledge it'll be the emergence into the Fifth World

Cherokee Their ancient calendar ends exactly at 2012 as does the Mayan calendar.

Tibetan Kalachakra teachings are prophesies left by Buddha predicting Coming of the Golden Age.

Egypt According to the Great Pyramid (stone calendar), present time cycle ends in year 2012 AD

What do you believe will happen in 2012...if anything?....or 2010 or 2013?

Will the morning of winter solstice 2012 appear like any other morning....Will we experience ourselves as more expansive or telepathic?

'' ....a telepathic interplay which will eventually annihilate time'' (Alice Bailey)

''....translation or dematerialisation to another sphere of the Universe'' (Teilhard de Chardin)

''....A matter-antimatter implosion leaving a mutation of matter to photoniform. Our minds
will unite like the fragments of a hologram.''(Terence McKenna)

''....As the Schumann resonance increases to 13Hz, Gaia goes from Alpha to Beta frequency
& wakes up. Increasing tryptamine & beta-carboline neuro-chemistry allows us a telepathic
communion, as we become used to our light bodies in preparation for the magnetic pole
reversal when there will be a mass out-of-body-experience.''(Geoff Stray)

''....Evolutionary quantum leap. Human / ET interface & the arrival of a new species or
kingdom on Earth.'' (Jon King)

''.....In 2012, Earth's axis will tilt, along with a polar reversal, causing terrestrial and
celestial grids to re-align, the pineal eye will perceive beyond ultraviolet,& we'll ascend
to the next dimension beyond time.'' (Moira Timms)

''....The human race will unify as a single circuit. Solar & galactic sound transmissions
will inundate the planetary field. A current charging both poles will race across the skies,
connecting the polar auroras in a single brilliant flash.''(Jose Arguelles)

''....A moment of quantum awakening. A nanosecond will be stretched into infinity and
become non-time, during which we will all experience full consciousness of who we are
and why we have incarnated. If we choose to return to human form, we will do so in an
awakened state, as 'reflective cells of the starmaker.'' (Ken Carey)

all archaeologist believe it is false. All it is, is when the ancient Mayan calender ends.

And how could you call that proof when all that is, is religions opinions on the topic. Besides when has a religion even proved itself to be real?

Just because you say something does not make it true.

One of several Mayan calendars is the Long Count calendar, which is reset to day 0 every 1,872,000 days or about 5125 years. The next reset date, by some calculations, is December 21, 2012. This is not a prediction of the end of the world. Here is what a Mayan elder says on the subject: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/6300744/2012-is-not-the-end-of-the-world-Mayan-elder-insists.html

These predictions are scare tactics, conspiracy theories, and chances to make money from books and movies.

Ever since the Y2K and 6/6/6 (June 6, 2006) End of the World scenarios did not pan out, the scare mongers, conspiracy theorists, book sellers, and television executives have been touting the 2012 End of the World scenario. When 2012 does not happen either, I am sure they will think of something else.

Here is also what NASA thinks about the 2012 End of the World scenario: http://pwg.gsfc.nasa.gov/stargaze/StarFAQ18.htm#q306

"But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come." (Mark 13:32-33)

Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to know when the end of the world would come but that we were always to be ready.

The early Christian Church thought that Jesus was going to return at any moment. Only after a couple of centuries did the Church realize that it may be 2,000 or 4,000 or 8,000 years before Jesus returns.

The Catholic Church wisely follows Jesus' advice and teaches that each of us should live as if we will meet our maker in the next ten minutes and that we need to work to make the world a better place for our 100 X great-grandchildren.

Do not worry about the end of the world. Trust God to make sure everything happens to plan. Just be ready to meet God at any time.

With love in Christ.

Nibiru, as reported by Zecharia Sitchin, based on the translation of the Sumerian writings, is a planet that approaches the Earth every 3600 years. A new approach is expected to occur.

This is not theory, see what the Bible says:

Like I would have liked to have told Mr. Camping, I dare you to phone me on the day after your bad prediction.

You need to take a nice, long vacation to a place where the stress levels aren't so high. Maybe someone will give you some nice pills that help you relax.

When you have relaxed and are thinking clearly again, you will be ashamed of yourself for believing this kind of baloney. Besides, the world can't end in 2012. I have plans for 2013.

Not to point out the obvious but neither the Mayans nor the Christians predict the end in 2012. Its a myth made up by people who don't understand the Mayan calender.

The way you're going, you won't last till June 21. Copy catters make the same mistake as they do

when they say Jesus was born Dec 25 and his real birthdate is Oct/Nov ~

I don't know where you get your misinformation, but this is certainly not in the Bible.

The entire thing is bogus.

In the bible it clearly says that Jesus will come as a thief in the night. This means we need to be ready but have no idea when the date will be. Only Jesus will know when he will come back to the earth. People need to read their scriptures better and stop looking for dates that are not there.
