Pros - Cons of a 2006 Ford Mustang GT 5-Spd manual?

im really interested that specific model year but i ve been told in the past besides significant horsepower gain in the GT500 there is nothing much difference and the GT has an aluminum block n the shelby is still carrying an iron block for this day n age so can someone with relevant knowledge school me please
