ps3 bluetooth?

ok every time you turn on the ps3 are you supposed to go and connect the bluetooth to the ps3 or what because one time it worked but now it does not work any more please answer i will give best answer to the one who actually helps me please
 
haha.. if you just bought then it requires a full charge for first time use... but no, you dont have to plug it in everytime you wanna start it up.. just make sure your new controllers are charge fully if you just bought it.
